Rosie set up The Hygiene Bank Dublin in 2019 and has developed it from a small community group to a national organisation that supports hundreds of individuals. Rosie has been involved in recruiting and supporting THBI volunteers across Ireland to tackle hygiene poverty and support those in financial need.
Rosie uses her previous experience as a fundraiser and from her day job as a grants executive to raise funds so additional products can be purchased to provide further support. Rosie became passionate about hygiene poverty when learning about the work of The Hygiene Bank in the UK and saw a gap in provision in Ireland. The more she speaks to Community Partner organisations, the more she sees the need for the work that The Hygiene Bank Ireland does.
